Listening is the Bridge
How Attention Turns Conversation Into Connection
Dear Learning Partners:
Sometimes connection isn’t found in what we say, but in how we show we’re listening.
Most people think listening is passive. In reality, it builds bridges.
Listening is the Bridge.
We cross it, and criss-cross it, when we build relationships and work collaboratively for the child.
It isn’t what I say aloud that builds a bridge from me to you.
But how you lean in when I speak,
that’s how I know you hear me too.
Listening is how we meet one another, strengthen partnerships, and keep the child at the center of every conversation.
Where might leaning in change a conversation this week?
Warmly, Tamara & Peggy
